How to re-link a Google Drive document or folder
If a location of a document has recently changed or moved spaces within Drive, such as a migration from Shared with Me to Shared Drive. Documents with links pointing to an old location may not be available. This example is within an internet browser.
- Find the updated location and document that needs to be linked
- Right click > Get link
- Copy link
- Replace the link in the document you wish to update
