Email Notification When a Voice Message is received!


Have you ever wanted an email reminder whenever you receive a voice message on your work extension or be able to listen to them online? Follow these steps:

  1. Visit voicemail.sdsu.edu

  2. Use your five-digit extension as your Mailbox and your voicemail security code as your Security Code to log in.

  3.  Now you are in and can listen to your voice messages here!

 

How to set up Email notification:

  1. Once logged in, Click Notification Settings.

  2. Click the SMS Tab.

  3. Check Enable Short Message Service (SMS).

  4. Select SMTP for SMS Provider, Click OK.

  5. Select All for Notification Status.

  6. Check Include Voice Msgs for Messages Types.

  7. Input your email address within the Email Address Field.

  8. Click OK.
